Ducks in a Row

I'm not usually one for taking nature pictures.  Mostly because I suck at it.  I just have a hard time with it for some reason.  Good thing that's not my life's ambition...  But we were at the park today and I had to share a couple of the good ones I got.  At least for me their good.

I lucked into this shot of this bird that we scared away on accident.  I have no idea what type of bird this is...maybe my lack of wildlife knowledge is hindering my wildlife photography...

And since I'm on a wildlife kick, I thought I'd throw in this picture of a baby bird that my daughter found in our yard.  She really, really wanted to keep him, but then he hopped off into the bushes...hope his mama found him.
